Continental Oil Sdn Bhd is one of the world\u2019s largest oil palm plantation owners with a total planted area of 365,904 hectares (ha) as at 31 December 2019, of which about 85% is in Malaysia, 10% in Middle East and 5% in Africa. In Malaysia our plantations are located in Sandakan, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching Sarawak.<\/p>

Through joint ventures, we own plantations in Uganda and West Africa of about 46,000 ha. We also directly manage 35,799 ha under smallholder schemes in Middle East and Africa and 149,000 ha under smallholder and out grower schemes through joint ventures and associates in Africa. We are committed to purchasing all the fruits produced by the small landholders\u2019 plantations.<\/p>

We have a strong team of managers and staff who are devoted to the common objective of achieving the highest standards for our plantations. We adopt best management practices including good field and harvesting standards and timely application of fertilizers to optimize crop yields.<\/p>

Apart from plantations, Continental Oil also owns palm oil mills to process fruits from our own and surrounding plantations.
